Brother International has introduced the GTX300 Hybrid Garment Printer, which combines direct-to-garment and direct-to-film printing in one compact unit. Operators can move between the two workflows without added equipment, using DTG for cotton and natural fabrics and DTF for polyester, blends, performance wear, oversized graphics and unusual print locations.
The printer runs Brother's Innobella textile inks, which carry OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT and GOTS 7.0 certifications and are CPSIA compliant. It adds a 7-inch touchscreen, GTX Graphics Lab software, automated maintenance and continuous white-ink circulation.
Brother is targeting print shops, classrooms and small production businesses that want to take on more types of jobs. Support includes guided installation, training resources and a one-year limited warranty that covers print heads; pricing was not disclosed.
