Arcus Printers launches compact Monarch FB1218 UV flatbed with rotary unit

Arcus Printers, a High Point, N.C., company whose parent is Axiom America, has introduced the Monarch FB1218, a compact UV flatbed with an integrated rotary attachment for cylindrical items. It prints on acrylic, wood, glass, metal, PVC and leather and can be configured for UV DTF work with optional accessories.

The system offers an 11.8 x 18.7-inch print area, handles objects up to 3.5 inches tall, and uses an eight-channel Epson I3200 head running CMYK, white and varnish. Arcus rates it at up to 13.4 square feet per hour in production mode and says it fits through a standard doorway.

Options include a vision-scan camera for template-free placement of small objects, roll-to-roll capability and a soft-flex ink set for raised, patch-like graphics on textiles. Pricing and ship dates were not disclosed.
