Book printer Total Printing Systems (TPS) and Cardinal Publishers Group began operating as partners on October 2. Both companies say day-to-day business continues as usual while they work to integrate their service offerings.

Under the arrangement, TPS can offer distribution to its existing printing clients, and Cardinal will help those clients get printed books into bookstores. Cardinal will keep accepting books produced by other printers and has secured preferential pricing for its clients, including free shipping to its Indianapolis location.

TPS, owned by the Lindemann family, says books remain its core focus. Cardinal is led by president Tom Doherty.
