Hederman Brothers is upgrading its wide-format operation with a Durst P5 350 HS hybrid inkjet printer, which handles both rigid and roll media, and a Zünd G3 3XL-3200 digital cutter. The company says the Durst unit is the first of its kind installed in Mississippi.

The Zünd cutter has a 126-by-125-inch working area and a tandem setup that lets operators load and unload material while jobs keep running. Hederman expects the pairing to tighten the path from printing through cutting and finishing, with more automation and fewer manual steps.

Wide format is also moving into a new 20,000-square-foot building next to the Madison headquarters. It includes about 6,500 square feet of production space, 2,750 square feet of wrap bays sized for an 80-foot tractor-trailer, and roughly 8,000 square feet for warehousing and fulfillment.
