EraSmart, based in Shenzhen, has introduced two direct-to-film printers, the A1 and A2, that pair CMYK and white with fluorescent inks so transferred designs glow under UV blacklight. The 620 mm A1 is rated at 1.5 to 2 square meters per hour at eight passes, while the narrower 450 mm A2 runs about 1 to 1.5 square meters per hour.
Both machines use a dual-head setup (one I3200HD and one I1600), accept roll and sheet PET film, and include automatic head cleaning and timed white-ink circulation. The company says fluorescent output needs dedicated print software rather than a standard CMYK-plus-white DTF setup.
EraSmart is pitching the printers to apparel studios and event-merchandise producers, and it advises shops to test adhesion, wash durability and color under both normal and UV light before running production. Pricing and ship dates were not disclosed.
