Electronics for Imaging (EFI), the industrial inkjet company owned by Siris, has signed a definitive agreement to combine with Agfa-Gevaert's Digital Printing Solutions business. An affiliate of Siris will hold 60% of the jointly held company and Agfa will hold 40%, although the two will govern it as equal partners.

The companies project roughly $625 million in pro forma 2026 revenue for the combined business, which will serve thousands of customers in more than 100 countries with complementary strengths in North America and Europe. The move builds on a global partnership EFI and Agfa formed in 2024.

Closing is targeted for the end of 2026, pending employee information and consultation processes, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. Neither a purchase price nor a leadership lineup for the combined company was disclosed.
