LabelTec becomes first U.S. converter to buy a ROTOCON RFP flexo press

A trade-in deal with the newly formed ROTOCON USA swaps the Colorado converter's older flexo gear for a fully servo-driven press.

LabelTec, a Colorado label converter, has replaced older flexographic equipment with a servo-driven ROTOCON RFP press, the first sale of the German-engineered platform to a U.S. converter. The press includes automatic pre-register and automatic registration controls.

ROTOCON USA accepted LabelTec's existing equipment as a trade-in and applied introductory North American pricing, letting the converter upgrade without straining cash flow. The project is turnkey, with ROTOCON USA handling freight, removal of the old gear, installation, commissioning and operator training.

LabelTec expects quicker setups, more repeatable jobs and smoother press checks. ROTOCON USA also said it is building a North American demo center in New Jersey with a servo flexo press and digital finishing equipment.
