Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions has launched Supreme Defense Gloss Lite, a lower-cost addition to its Supreme Defense paint protection film range. The clear gloss film is 7.5 mils thick, installs wet, and is described as self-healing, hydrophobic and plotter-friendly.

It comes with a seven-year warranty, sitting below the line's premium Supreme Defense Gloss, which carries 10 years, and alongside the seven-year Matte version. Avery did not publish pricing and described the film only as competitively priced.

The company is aiming the product at daily drivers, leased vehicles and commercial fleets, as well as price-sensitive customers and high-volume dealership protection programs. It is also positioned as an entry point for installers who are newer to PPF.
