The brand opens a new channel for Dimense print providers, with designer collaborations and on-demand, PVC-free embossed wallpaper.

Roland DG has launched Dimense Surface, a premium interior wallcovering brand built on its Dimense textured printing technology and aimed at architects, interior designers and specifiers. It debuted at London Design Festival 2026 with a Collaboration Series made with four studios, including New York's LOVEISENOUGH, plus an in-house collection for residential, hospitality and commercial spaces.

The Dimense DA-640 system uses new printheads and a proprietary structural ink that marks where texture should form, and heat expands the specialty media by up to 2 mm as it passes through the printer. Roland pairs water-based inks with PVC-free, odorless wallpaper and offers bespoke designs with no minimum order.

Projects are produced through Roland DG's network of authorized Dimense print providers, giving shops that invested in the technology a new source of work. Orders can be placed now through the Dimense Surface website.
